Peter Carl Fabergé was a Russian goldsmith and jeweler, the author of the famous Fabergé Imperial Eggs. Year after year, he was making an Easter Egg for the Russian czar, who was giving them to his wife. He made a name for himself as the creator of jewelry, that European aristocracy especially adored – beautiful items made of gold and silver studded with diamonds and emeralds.
